Introduction to golf

Located a few kilometers from Verona and near Lake Garda, the Verona Golf Club (Sommacampagna) is a leading address in Veneto for playing an 18-hole, par 72 course amidst the hills and vineyards of Custoza.

Originally created as a 9-hole course and later expanded to 18, the course is renowned for its terrain: the first 9 holes are narrower and shorter, while the last 9 are longer and more open, with elevated greens that demand a precise approach.

Designed in particular by John Harris and later developed by other architects, this hilly course offers a real challenge while remaining very enjoyable to play. The club also has practice facilities (driving range, putting green) and a welcoming clubhouse, ideal for a day of golf in Northern Italy.
